Minimum education qualification: Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree. Experience: Appropriate experience in Nursing Information Management System (NIMS). Inherent requirement of the job: Valid Driver’s Licence. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Extensive knowledge of procedures and processes related to Nursing Information Management System. Appropriate knowledge of Treasury Regulations and Contract Management and PFMA. Appropriate knowledge of drawing up various documents, reports pertaining to nursing information management. Relevant knowledge in People & Financial Management. Sound interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer skills (MS Office, Excel and Word). Training in NIMS and desktop support.
Implement operational plans for Nursing Information Management System (NIMS) to support nursing practice. Oversee the development and execution of nursing policies with specific reference to Nursing. Information Management System. Manage and Coordinate Nursing Information Management System (NIMS). Provide support and advice to management as NIMS advisor. Identify, coordinate and monitor resources (People and Financial) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
