National Senior Certificate plus an LLB Degree (NQF L7) or equivalent qualification. At least 8 years’ appropriate post-qualification legal experience. Admission as an Attorney / Advocate will be an added advantage. The following skills, knowledge, and attributes are required: National Environmental Management Act, Public Service Regulations, Public Service Act, NEMBA, Computer literacy and skills, good writing, and communication skills. A valid driver’s licence is required.
Provide legal, legal drafting and compliance advisory services. Coordinate the provisioning of litigation, appeal, contract development and specialised environmental law advisory and support services. Manage allocated resources and ensure compliance with governance and planning frameworks. Perform and manage administrative and related functions.
