Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Education, Communication, Public Relations, Project Management and Social Science; A minimum of 1 year experience in a road safety management working environment or related fields.; A Valid (code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply. Competencies: 176 Knowledge in the following: Provisioning of traffic safety education; Planning and execution of road safety interventions; Creation of awareness and inform road users of traffic safety projects and road safety issues; Marketing of products and services to a variety of target groups; Planning of: Strategy planning process; Project management process; Strategic thinking process; Performance management process; General support systems; Skills needed: Computer Literacy; Written and verbal communication; Project Management; Accounting, Finance and Audit; Economic, Financial and Statistical Analysis; Legal Administration; Organising; Problem-solving; Report-writing; Ability to work under pressure; Willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines; Willingness to regularly travel away from office.
Duties
Render support with the planning and execution of road safety interventions in the Metro: East/North Region; Accounting for progress and performance; Render support to achieve road safety targets in the Metro: East/North Region in accordance with set standards to enhance service delivery; Competent stewardship.
Salary
R397 116 – R467 790 per annum (Level 08)
