Job Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work overtime and perform outreaches. Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills. Self- discipline and motivation.
Duties
Development and implementation of basic patient care plans. Provide basic clinical nursing care. Effective utilisation of physical and financial resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self- development. Take actions to improve quality of nursing care. Participate in infection prevention and control.
What is the Salary
Grade 1: R229 440 per annum Grade 2: R272 778 per annum Grade 3: R319 071 per annum
