Job Requirements

Grade 1: Appropriate Qualification or prescribed in-service training (with duration of less than two years) that allows for the required registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA), where applicable in the relevant profession Registration: Registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession where applicable. Duties

Effectively and efficiently collect the deceased, which includes the physical collection, processing and safekeeping of corpses, information exhibits, property from the incident scenes, etc. Admit, store and release corpses in accordance to protocols and guidelines. Assist Forensic Pathologists with the conducting of autopsies and identification procedures in accordance to standards and guidelines.
