Job Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate with having achieved Mathematics, Life Science and/ or Biology as passed subjects. Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: 10 year’s appropriate experience. Inherent requirements of the job: Valid Code B/EB driver’s license. Ability to interpret and apply polices. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work with and lift corpses, (mutilated, decomposed, infectious viruses, obese). Be willing on travelling long distances and working standby
Duties
Effective and efficient recovery, storage and processing of deceased. An effective identification process and release of the deceased, including management of property. An effective Forensic autopsy process and specimen management rendered in accordance with set standards and guidelines. Optimal control of reports and statements during and after forensic mortuary process. An efficient support service to the Manager with regard to Corporate and Clinical Governance functions of the Forensic Pathology Laboratory.

Grade 1: R225 777 per annum Grade 2: R262 953 per annum
