Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) plus an accredited secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification on the level of NQF level 5 or relevant higher tertiary qualification; A minimum of 3 years’ experience in rendering a support service to management/ senior management. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Relevant legislation / policies / prescripts and procedures; Basic knowledge of financial administration. Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Communication skills (written and verbal); Interpersonal and decision-making skills; Customer service orientation; Organising and planning; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Provide a secretarial/receptionist support service to the Manager; Renders administrative support services; Provide support to the Manager regarding meetings; Support the Manager with the administration of the manager’s budget; Studies the relevant Public Service and departmental prescripts/policies and other documents and ensure that the application thereof is understood properly.
