Participate in the after-hours call system. Completion of FCS (SA) Otorhinolaryngology part II Intermediate Exam. Each Registrar will be required to work across the Groote Schuur, Red Cross & New Somerset Hospitals’ platform in meeting the service requirements of. Registrars will be required to register as postgraduate students with the University of Cape Town as applicable according to the requirements for the discipline in the yearbook and guidelines. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Appropriate and sufficient clinical experience in otorhinolaryngology since obtaining the degree of MBChB and after completion of internal rotations. Knowledge, expertise and experience with regards to providing medical services in surgery and otorhinolaryngology that is obtained from knowledge and skills obtained in the intermediate examination.
