Job Requirements
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B- Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years middle management level experience in a secure or substance treatment residential care or related environment; A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Analytic, diagnostic, assessment tools, evaluation methods and processes (Social Worker); Personnel Management; Supervision Framework for Social Workers; Social Work legislation related to children; Social work theory and interventions; Information and Knowledge Management; Protocol and professional ethics. Skills needed: Organising and planning; Project planning; Psychosocial intervention; Communication and language; People management practices; Conflict management; Interpersonal; Report-writing; Computer literacy; Presentation and facilitation; Problem solving and analytical; Client orientation and customer focus.
Duties
Effective service delivery in terms of National, Provincial frameworks and international accords / models of residential care standard operating procedures; Ensure effective, efficient and economic use of appropriate funds and physical resources; Effective people management; Operational management of the facility.
What is the Salary
R896 436 per annum (Level 11), (all-inclusive salary package)
