Job Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’S) of the post. Experience: Appropriate experience in financial and expenditure management. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Sound Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Accounting Officer’s System of the Department of Health. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Duties
Authorising of payments on the BAS and Logis systems. Compliance Monitoring including adherence to policies and feedback to Internal Control Audit Findings. Maintenance and Clearance of Asset and Liability Accounts. Managing Revenue and Petty Cash Administration. Compilation of Annual Financial Statements, In Year Monitoring (IYM), Leases and 30 Day Payment Reporting. Human Resource Development and Management. Support to Supervisor and Finance Component.
