An undergraduate qualification in Law, Criminal Justice, Policing, Forensics, Public Management or Public Administration at NQF 6 as recognized by SAQA. Three (3) Years’ experience in an Assistant Director (Junior Management) level in an Investigations environment is required. Knowledge of public security, Including the Minimum Information Security Standards Act (MISS). Knowledge of investigation methodology. Knowledge of asset protection operations. Knowledge of the Departmental Legislations and Prescripts. Knowledge of the Departmental Legislations and Prescripts. Knowledge of the GITO Framework, standard and guidelines. Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act. Knowledge of E-Government Imperatives. Knowledge of State Information Technology Act (SITA).
