Job Requirements
A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent, Basic Traffic Diploma plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Traffic Management or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA). 6 – 10 years working experience in Traffic Law Enforcement field; Valid Driver’s Licence. A minimum of 3 years as Senior Provincial Inspector. The applicants must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm as contemplated in the Firearm Control Act, 2000 (Act no 60 of 2000), or other relevant legislation. No Criminal record. Duties
Manage and enforce Road Traffic, Public Passenger, Transport Legislation and other relevant legislations. Manage joint law enforcement activities and projects (co-operative governance). Manage resources and provide leadership and direction to all subordinates. Manage the performance of all administrative activities and related duties.
